Hello, I'm AK

I’m a business architect by practice. I work alongside subject matter experts and decision makers to make sense of complex business situations, determine what’s worth doing next, and orchestrating teams to deliver solutions. Recently, I’ve also been shaping the strategy, leading engineering teams, and helping colleagues navigate change.

I also spend time in the startup community. I’ve been part of founding teams, judged venture competitions, and coached teams through accelerator programs. These days, I mentor founders as they figure out what customers actually need, test their assumptions, and turn ideas into products. Along the way, I’ve had the chance to work with teams in InsurTech, FinTech, AdTech, and EdTech.

If you’re working through something and could use a thoughtful partner, get in touch. I’m always happy to share thoughts, compare notes, or just have a conversation.

Diagrams of Questionable Value

I make sense of ideas using boxes, arrows, and a healthy dose of optimism. Over the years, I've built up a collection of diagrams of varying usefulness, and I'm sharing some of them here in the hope that they may be helpful to others. As with most things on the internet, your mileage may vary.

I hope something nice happens to you today.
